Dear Coast Spas,

We have been owners of a Manhattan Gold Coast spa since May 2004. Our intent was to purchase this luxury item for relaxation but it has proven to be so much more.

The personnel at The Place in North Royalton and Medina, Ohio are friendly, fun to talk to and most importantly, knowledgeable. It’s fun to enter the store because you feel as though you are beginning a vacation! Donerae Testa and Ann Kurilec work hard to make that happen.

Our spa was delivered on time and the installers worked quickly and with well-mannered professionalism. They explained how to start up the spa and answered all our questions clearly. We also found the in-store maintenance class to be invaluable because the instructor Ron, a repairman carefully explained how the spa worked and how proper care can prevent a maintenance call.

We use our spa daily and the maintenance time to keep the spa clean and sanitary is minimal. Five minutes on a daily basis, 10 minutes weekly and 2 ½ hours about four times a year to drain, clean and refill the spa. This small amount of time is a well-spent investment in a relaxed and calm way to end each day (and sometimes start the day too).

We have found that our family has grown closer because of the time spent together soaking away the hours. Last Christmas day while sitting in our spa, our grown children began to remember happy days that they had spent at Boy Scout summer camp. Before long it turned into a sing-along of camp songs! This would never have happened if we had been in the house in front of the television. We are truly creating some golden moments with our family since purchasing our spa.

My spouse and I have spent many evenings in the spa watching nature unfold before our very eyes. We watch the birds come and go, the raccoons, skunks, and ground hogs scurry across the yard, and we’ve even had a screech owl stop and visit for several nights. And we can’t forget the red tailed hawk that sat not more than 10 feet from our spa one afternoon and watched us as we watched him. We even had a hummingbird hover above the water for several minutes. All of these animals would have been missed is we hadn’t been relaxing in our spa.

We enjoy our spa because it allows us to enjoy the sunsets and the stars and the snow and the wildlife and most of all, each other. Thanks Coast Spas!
