Dear Dr. Carpenter,
I’m writing to thank you for your help. After my last appointment with you in September of 2005, I purchased a “Wellness Coast Spa” from Dakota Spas and Pools in Fargo. Designed especially for people with arthritis, it is eight feet square and four feet deep with short steps and handrails for easy entry and use. I have also been taking glucosamine chondroitin as you prescribed.
Since February of 2006, I have exercised daily as often as possible in 94 degree water. I can’t adequately describe how much better I feel! I am now pain free on one half of my previous dose of Tylenol Arthritis.
My knees no longer hurt with every movement; my hands are not throbbing in pain 24 hours a day; and because of the exercises, my legs are much stronger and my endurance has improved greatly. I have also lost over fifty pounds.
